Welcome to FindAPetSitter - the map-based community portal for pet sitters, walkers & owners! Using FindAPetSitter is very simple, intuitive and best of all, free!

I decided to launch FindAPetSitter when I was planning to go on holidays and couldn’t find anyone to take care of my beloved pooch, Daisy. The obvious solution was to bring her to the local kennels, so off I went when the time came. But when I got there, I didn’t have the heart to leave her. Poor Daisy had been spoilt by our close relationship and wasn’t exactly eager to join the long strip of outdoor huts.

So I decided I’d try to find a pet sitter to look after Daisy, someone who loved animals and would look after her well  until I returned. Unfortunately, there seemed to be no resources for  pet sitters & owners looking to get in touch.

And so the idea for FindAPetSitter was born. The rest they say, is history. Well not in this case. I hope to grow FindAPetSitter, and make it into a large, thriving community for pet sitters, walkers & owners to find a match, and share ideas, thoughts and funny stories.

I will be adding features along the way, but also welcome any comments, bugs or suggestions you may have. Just click on the Bugs/Feedback menu, and I will gladly address your feedback.
